Sunset in Texas

I was driving home the other evening heading West towards the setting sun and was struck by the total beauty of this particular sunset. I had my cameras in the car and made a rapid exit off Highway 71, West into the County Complex which sits on a hill.

From there, I was able to take these wonderful images of the setting sun which seemed to last for ever. I even had time to change to a wide-angle lens to encompass more of the glory.

Nature can be so beautiful at times as if to make up for some of the moments of chaos that she brings.
