Today when I awoke
I looked out of the window
to behold the wonders
that Mother Nature
has bestowed.

The yard so green and tall
the fish swimming in the ponds
the humming birds as they hover
and suck nectar from the flowers
and my little dogs chasing imaginary mice
under the deck.

When I take a walk in this wonderland
I hear the birds singing
and see the squirrels chasing in the trees
and the Buzzard floating on high
soaring with the wind
swooping and diving in the sky.

And I am thankful
that Mother Nature has given us
the beauties that we see.
