and if I will be here at the end

with no special significance
other than being alive.
No resolutions just waiting
to be broken
by me.
A New Year, a New President
what will he bring
that might change my life.
It matters not as I have little control
over things to come
in the not too distant future.
Maybe I can control myself
and my life
to a larger degree.

I hope not but it could be worse. We could also have our own riots when Trumps supporters realize they have been hoodwinked.
